I’ve been on the hunt for a decent waterfall cardigan for a while. I tried a free pattern and it’s wasn’t love. It’s been a while but I think I didn’t like the front seams on the bodice.

The Carefree Cardigan check all the boxes for me. It’s semi fitted through the shoulders and sleeves. And I love the way it drapes.

It has nice square corners and I like the banded finish. I was being lazy and didn’t do the clean finish as described in the pattern, but instead just used my serger. I think with the waffle knit the serged finish blends in well.

I’m going to need a few of these to get me through 2020.
